Tuition and Fees

As a public college in the City University of New York (CUNY) system, John Jay College offers a high-quality education at only a fraction of the cost of a private college or university. In fact, our name has appeared on lists of the most affordable colleges in the United States. Our tuition and fees vary by degree, program, and matriculation (whether or not you are seeking a degree). Some courses may have additional fees for course materials or other expenses.

If you need assistance paying for your education, John Jay College offers several financial aid options, including loans, scholarships, grants, and veterans benefits to eligible students. A wide range of payment options make paying your bill convenient, including: Credit Cards, Check or Money Order, Cash, Third-party payments, and Monthly Payment Plans.

Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies

TUITION AND FEES

Regular in-state tuition rate applies to all students enrolled in the online Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies program regardless of residency. Other fees total $152.50 per semester, including the $15 University Fee (Consolidated Fee), $75 Online Infrastructure Fee, and $62.50 Technology Fee.*

Students who are accepted into the program must pay a commitment deposit of $250, which will be applied to the first semester tuition. 

The online Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies requires a total of 12 credits. Students enrolled in the program follow a part time schedule. Estimated total costs for the program are as follows:

** Tuition and fees for non-matriculated students may vary. 

If you are enrolled in another degree program at John Jay College, your per credit tuition rate will be the same as your primary program. 

Tuition and fees are established by the Board of Trustees of The City University of New York and are subject to change without prior notice by action of the Board.

Books are not included in the cost of tuition and fees.
